Sarah is a passionate entrepreneur and accomplished medical doctor who solves real-world problems to create impact. She leads Gimmel’s digital health investments and advisory businesses and brings her insights and relationships from Stanford, UCSF, Baylor University, Mass General and Hebrew University. She expands Gimmel’s reach into several cutting edge markets including new business models for clinical trials, medical search engines, and Gimmel’s Accelerator program.
Dr. Benson-Konforty was VP of Business Development at SeaUrchin (Acquired by Algolia), a pioneer in search engine analytics, and successfully scaled Apple’s technical presence in Asia. She was Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Macpire, an early global innovator of CRM and e-reader technology (Acquired by NYSE: CHGG). Sarah was responsible for defining products and driving go-to-market strategies for the private and academic sectors. She also cofounded the Israeli Macintosh Community Forum and Hub. Dr. Benson-Konforty holds an MD degree from TSMU and is a graduate of the Wharton Business School with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation.
